FOR HOW LONG A DIGITAL NOMAD VISA HOLDER CAN STAY AND WORK IN PANAMA?

Panama NOMAD VISA grants remote workers to stay in Panama for a period of 9 months, The remore worker may extend his NOMAD VISA for another 9 months. This means a NOMAD VISA worker rmay stay in Panama for a total period of 18 months. One of the benefits of NOMAD VISA, is that the NOMAD visa holder do not need to apply for Panama work permit.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR PANAMA DIGITAL NOMAD VISA.

In order to apply for a PANAMA DIGITAL NOMAD VISA, Panama immigration office require certain documents from the applicants such as;

A valid passport
Clean police report
Health insurance policy covering the remote worker for his medical expenses while he is in Panama. If the insurance coverage is a foreign company, it must be apostilled/ authenticated.
Proof of foreign company existence (certificate of the company employing the remore worker good standing ) to be apostilled and authenticated
Employment letter signed by the legal representative of the Company
Proof of income of the remote worker: $36,000. PER YEAR

Requirements for self-employed NOMAD VISA applicants

Certification or proof that the company is registered in a foreign country or that the company you are working for is located outside of Panama, apostilled/ authenticated by a Panamanian Consulate in the issuing country
A signed affivadit stating the general information of the applicant, list of his clients, applicant’s services provided to the client, regularity of payment, source of applicants funds such as where the funds coming from and number of payments. apostilled/authenticated by a Panamanian Consulate in the issuing country.

APPROVAL PROCESS AND TIMING OF DIGITAL NOMAD V

The NOMAD VISA approval process may take between 30-60 days.

Once we have all the required documents, we’d apply to the immigration office in Panama for a NOMAD VISA on your behalf Approximately after 30-60 days, we will notify you of the NOMAD visa approval.
